I translated several annual reports of the Human Rights Foundation of Turkey (HRFT) from the Turkish to the English language with the aim to produce a readable text for an audience outside Turkey. These "books" have partly been printed. With permission of the HRFT that might "publish" these reports on its homepage (currently no English version available) I offer these "books" in an unedited form (that means without anyone having corrected my mistakes) as word-files (doc) in a compressed form (zip). I translated the annual report of

After several reforms of the legal system in Turkey the lawyer Meryem Erdal wrote a book on "Torture and Impunity" in 2005. It was published by the HRFT.
